Who we are!

Amorco Transport Ltd is a family run business based in Bedford.  We operate from modern, secure premises which include a 40,000 sq ft warehouse. We offer a wide range of transport, distribution and storage services, and we are contracted to several major companies. Our storage facility at Stratton Way, Bedford is covered by CCTV surveillance system, together with light beams on perimeter fences as an additional security measure.

Our comprehensive fleet of 50 vehicles ranges from 35cwt to 45ft trailers, incorporating both rigid & curtain sided, and tail lifts. All our vehicles are fitted with vehicle trackers and telephones, with online  POD capture.

 

We provide a nationwide distribution service on a daily basis. This enables us, wherever possible, to tailor our schedules to meet the delivery times specified by our customers.

 

Since the company was established in 1975, we have achieved a first-class standard of operation which we continue to maintain.  All our staff work to established, approved procedures. These have evolved from the specific requirements of our customers and from exceptional working practices which we have adopted.  Additionally, Amorco Transport Ltd is a member of the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) and has more recently achieved Certificate of Registration with the Environment Agency as a carrier of controlled waste.

Amorco has its own vehicle maintenance workshop to ensure our prestigious fleet is maintained to the highest standard and to ensure that everything possible is done to safeguard our customer’s deliveries and deadlines.
